’47 stands for inclusion, diversity, and equality. We are committed to using our voice as well as our resources to help eradicate systemic racism. We need to make immediate and long-term contributions to create progress because Black Lives Matter.
We are donating to and partnering with The HBCU Foundation, a non-profit organization whose aim is to provide scholarships, internships, and career opportunities to students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
Within our company, we are immediately enacting paid days of community service and activism. We believe in the power of change through education, self-expression, and action.
We will continue to listen, learn, and speak out against racism. ’47 is committed to establishing a safe forum for employees to engage in a dialogue that creates positive change within our organization.
This dialogue does not stop today. We know we must use our platform to do better, and we will.
