Stadium Taste: The Iowa Cubs “Beer Box”
This week in “Stadium Taste” we travel to Principal Park in Des Moines, Iowa. The park is home to the Iowa Cubs and one of the coolest stadium promotions. In the middle of the concourse stands the “Beer Box”, a walk in cooler stocking all types of frosty refreshment.
The “box” is a fully refrigerated walk in cooler, which makes sure your beer is ice cold on a hot July afternoon at the ballpark. Because there’s nothing worse than warm beer!
The beer box offers all manor of ice cold refreshment, but it seems that Pabst Blue Ribbon is far and away the most popular beer offered here. Can’t say that I disagree.
