Stadium Taste: Polish Hill Hot Dog

Polish Hill is a neighborhood in Pittsburgh. It was traditionally a haven for Polish immigrants, and is now the inspiration behind a new hot dog at PNC Park. The Polish Hill dog is an extra long all beef frank on a potato roll. It’s topped with fried onion strings and filled with mini-perogies, a classic Polish potato dumpling. We’ve seen a lot of crazy hot dog toppings, but this has to be one of the most unusual.

Stadium Giveaway Spotlight: Myrtle Beach Pelicans

As the weather warms up and schools begin to let out for the summer, baseball teams around the country, from the Minor Leagues to the Major Leagues will begin to offer some unique, crazy, and awesome promotional giveaways. We thought it would be fun to take a quick look to see some of the items that our friends at the Myrtle Beach Pelicans will be giving away this season.

The Pelicans promo lineup is pretty stacked. With everything from an umbrella, to a sack-pack, to a beach blanket-they should have fans running to the gates on the select days that these items will be given away. While these three items may be pretty cool, our favorite Pelicans giveaway item for the year has to be the Field Turf Koozie (scheduled to be given away July 19th).

Futureistic Stadium Coming to Atlanta

The Atlanta Falcons reached an agreement to build a new stadium in downtown Atlanta last month. Last week, two possible options of what the stadium might look like were unveiled. Check out the 2 concepts below- let’s just say that they are pretty unique…

The outer panels in the “Solarium” can expand outwards to create an open-stadium feel.

The second option, called the Pantheon, features a retractable roof referred to as the “Oculous.”
